A REVOLUTIONARY APPROACH BORN FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Turning personal struggle into groundbreaking science
Dr. Aimie’s journey into trauma biology began during medical school as a foster and adoptive mother, where she witnessed how traditional approaches often failed. After her own health crash during surgical residency in 2014, she set out to understand trauma beyond emotion—discovering it as a biological injury stored in cells, disrupting the nervous system, and hijacking healing processes.
Her guiding philosophy, “Living with Open Hands and Open Heart,” reflects the shift from guarding against life’s pain to meeting it with presence, trust, and resilience.
“Dr. Aimie continues to bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and accessible healing, helping others discover that lasting change happens not by working against our bodies, but by understanding and partnering with them.”
