PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT:
THE BIOLOGY OF TRAUMA® MODULES

Take Charge of My Trauma (TCMT) Self-Help Track

WHERE TO START

Begin with the basics. The Foundational Journey sets the groundwork before you can dive into specialized modules.

GUIDED BY DR. AIMIE APIGIAN

The medical expert behind the Biology of Trauma® Model

Dr. Aimie Apigian created these Modules—also called the Take Charge of My Trauma (TCMT) Track—to address trauma where it truly lives: in your biology. Trauma isn’t just in your head; it affects your mitochondria, nervous system, and immune function.

Through six modules, you’ll work with a proven blend of somatic practices (listening to your body’s wisdom), parts work (healing fragmented aspects of self), and biology repair tools (understanding and restoring cellular health). This is a program for personal healing and development—no tests, no presentations, just meaningful work that emphasizes felt experience over theory, because your body holds the wisdom your mind hasn’t caught up to yet.

Completion of the Foundational Journey (21-Day Journey + All Parts of Me) is required before starting the modules. Designed for those ready to make real change, the TCMT Track is about breaking generational patterns and building resilience not only for yourself, but for your children and future generations. You’ll move through each module at your own pace, supported by community and live guidance along the way.

THE 6 CORE MODULES

Each module combines somatic work, parts work, and biology work for lasting transformation.

Module 1:

Biology of Freeze and Overwhelm

This foundational module addresses the chronic freeze response that keeps you stuck watching life happen instead of living it. We explore how trauma literally shuts down your mitochondria (your cellular powerhouses), creates brain inflammation, and hijacks your immune system. You'll learn to create safety in your body so your nervous system can finally exhale and your energy can return.

What You'll Experience:
  • Understanding the science of freeze states

  • Somatic practices for nervous system activation

  • Parts work with frozen aspects of self

  • Mitochondrial support and energy restoration

Module 2:

Biology of Grief and Heart Shocks

Here we explore how unresolved grief doesn't just live in your heart—it literally lives in your gut. The gut-heart connection is profound, and when we haven't properly grieved, it shows up as digestive issues, chronic inflammation, and disconnection from intuitive knowing. This module is especially powerful for empaths and highly sensitive people.

What You'll Experience:
  • Understanding the gut-heart connection

  • Practices for moving through grief rather than around it

  • Somatic work with heart and digestive systems

  • Integration of emotional and physical healing

Module 3:

Biology of Attachment and Neurodevelopment

This comprehensive module addresses the reality that many of us didn't get the early attunement we needed, and those attachment wounds live in our nervous system, affecting every relationship we have. Through developmental movement, touch integration, and understanding how your brain developed, we literally rewire neural circuits formed in early years.

What You'll Experience:
  • Developmental movement practices (including crawling)

  • Touch integration and nervous system rewiring

  • Understanding your attachment patterns

  • Healing early developmental wounds

Module 4:

Biology of Stress and Resilience

We completely reframe stress in this module. Instead of trying to eliminate stress (which is impossible and harmful), you'll learn "how to stress the right way." Stress isn't the enemy—chronic, unresolved stress is. You'll learn to choose what deserves your stress response and use stress as fuel for what matters most.

What You'll Experience:
  • Regulation Room sessions (like a gym for your nervous system)

  • Learning to complete stress cycles

  • Building resilience and capacity

  • Sacred relationship with stress

Module 5:

Biology of Letting Go

"Feel it, face it, and free it"—this module's approach to true detoxification. It's not just about green smoothies and supplements. We understand that emotional toxins are just as real as environmental ones, and they're stored in your tissues, affecting your ability to be authentic. This module has extensive live support because letting go requires safety and witnessing.

What You'll Experience:
  • Emotional detoxification practices

  • Understanding authenticity as biological necessity

  • Somatic practices for cellular release

  • Community support for deep letting go

Module 6:

Biology of Healing

The culmination module about moving from healing mode to living mode. Many people get stuck in perpetual healing, making healing their identity instead of a bridge to thriving. This module teaches you how to shift from surviving to truly thriving through movement as medicine and building an expansive life.

What You'll Experience:
  • Advanced biology tools for thriving

  • Movement as medicine practices

  • Building a life of expansion rather than contraction

  • Integration of all previous modules
